He was born Rawle Alexander Harding on April 13th 1989 in Georgetown, Guyana.  When Rawle was only three years old he immigrated to Canada in 1992 to begin a new life with his father Rawle Harding senior.  At the age of 16 Rawle Alexander Harding Jr was sure that he wanted to pursue music. He was passionate about singing and song writing from since the age of 9. The arts and studying musical theory were always his main interest in school, where he also played several instruments such as the baritone, the trombone and piano. He then went on to graduate with the arts awards and excellence awards.  He sang in his school choirs, at talent shows and church functions. As one of Toronto’s new hottest upcoming songwriters King Alexander loves to create music with smooth R&B/soulful grooves mixed with light Pop flavor coupled with electrifying dance beats. He wants his fans to listen to his music that is “easy to relate to and that they will be able to feel whatever emotion they wish through the music”.

He credits his musical influence to Aaliyah, R. Kelly, Luther Vandross, Michael Jackson and other artists like Usher. King Alexander has been busy working in the studio on several upcoming singles including his newest single “Hold on.” He has been in the studio recording various single hit songs including “Shooting Cupid” and “Candy Shop” among others soon to be released.  In addition he has teamed up with some of the industry’s top producers and song writers from Toronto Canada, Los Angeles, London England and Atlanta. King Alexander has been working hard and will be releasing an intimate EP, and then he hopes to release a full album.

King Alexander also started his own music management and talent development agency back in 2010 named King Alexander Entertainment in Toronto. He also began interning with larger agencies such as Chris Smith Management under Chase Parsons who managed superstar songstress Tamia Grant Hill and Canadian rapper, singer and record producer Saukrates. In 2010 to 2011 he also lived in Atlanta Georgia where he landed a spot on a cable music talk show “The Ultimate CMV”. There he interviewed some of the industry’s biggest music producers like Darin Epsilon “North America’s leading figure in pure Progressive House” and others like Tommy Guns who is known for being one of the masterminds behind producing the American rapper Mims single “This is why I’m hot”. King Alexander shined as an excellent host as he continued to interview A&R’s from Interscope Records and Warner Bros and Famed Broadway stars such as Chester Gregory.
